7 Loox Alternatives for 2026

Loox is Shopify-only, order-metered, and its own terms keep ownership of your customer media. Here are seven honest alternatives — and the one that adds a DAM and native social publishing.

Last updated July 24, 2026

The short version

Loox is a Shopify-only visual-reviews app whose Convert tier is order-volume-metered (US$49.99/month for 300 orders, then US$50 per additional 300), and whose Merchant Terms of Service state that Loox retains ownership of your customer media and restrict reusing it off your own website without a separate written agreement. Every alternative below collects reviews and customer media for on-site widgets and read-only retail syndication — but none of them, Loox included, does a real DAM plus native scheduled social publishing plus usage rights captured at submission the way Jam does. If Shopify-only is the blocker, look at Fera; if price is, Judge.me; if you want to own and publish your media, start with Jam.

1. Jam

DAM + UGC collection + social publishing in oneOur product

Full disclosure: Jam is our product. It leads this list because it does what Loox and every other review app stops short of. Loox collects photo and video reviews for on-site widgets and read-only syndication to retail surfaces like Google Shopping, Meta and TikTok Shop. Jam adds the layer none of them own: a real digital asset library (DAM), usage rights granted at the moment customer media is submitted, and native scheduled publishing to seven social platforms. It's also genuinely easy to use — an intuitive UI a non-technical marketer or social manager can pick up in minutes, with no training or onboarding. It is platform-agnostic (not Shopify-only), priced flat and published (US$99/month Standard, US$299/month Growth, custom Enterprise) with no order-volume metering, 14 integrations, and a 14-day trial with no credit card.

2. Yotpo

Broad reviews + loyalty suite with retail syndication

Yotpo is the broad, enterprise-leaning suite: reviews and UGC plus a full loyalty and referrals engine, and a genuinely strong review-syndication network across Google, Meta, TikTok Shop, the Shop App, Walmart, Target and hundreds of retail partners — a real moat Loox does not match. One honest limitation: pricing is demo-gated and order-volume-metered (secondary sources put Reviews around US$79/month at entry, with overage past tier caps), and Yotpo discontinued its native email and SMS products at the end of December 2025. Like Loox, it has no DAM and no multi-platform social scheduler — its only native posting, Social Push, is Facebook-only and reviews-only.

Pricing: Reviews from ~US$79/month (quote-led)

3. Okendo

Premium DTC reviews suite (reviews, loyalty, quizzes)

Okendo is a polished reviews suite for Shopify DTC brands — attribute and fit data, Q&A, AI moderation and summaries, plus Loyalty, Referrals, Quizzes and Surveys. It is Sydney-founded, like Jam, which we respect. Verified Shopify App Store pricing (order-volume tiers): Free up to 50 orders, Essential US$19/month, Growth US$119/month, Power US$299/month; the full suite is quote-only. One honest limitation: like Loox it is Shopify-centric and order-metered, and its photos and videos live inside review widgets — no reusable asset library, no rights-at-submission consent record, and no native social publishing (its TikTok/Google presence is review syndication).

Pricing: Free; Essential US$19/month

4. Judge.me

Cheapest unlimited photo/video reviews, at scale

Judge.me is the most-cited swap when merchants leave Loox over price: unlimited photo/video reviews with a near-perfect reputation (5.0 stars, 42,132 reviews, July 2026). Crucially, its Awesome plan is a flat US$15/month — not order-metered like Loox's Convert tier — alongside a Forever Free plan. One honest limitation: it is deliberately bare-bones (lighter analytics and less polished widgets than premium tools) and reviews-only — no DAM, no rights-at-submission, and its 'social' is read-only review sharing/syndication, not owned-media publishing.

Pricing: Free; Awesome US$15/month (flat)

5. Junip

Clean modern reviews with a generous free tier

Junip is a clean, modern reviews app with a strong migration story off Loox and others, and an unusually generous free tier with unlimited review requests (4.8 stars, 1,074 reviews, July 2026). Pricing: Free, Core US$29/month, Growth US$79/month (adds Google Shopping, TikTok Shop, Shop App and Meta Shops syndication), and Premium US$299/month. One honest limitation: retail syndication is gated to Growth (US$79/month) and up, the ecosystem is smaller than Judge.me, and — like Loox — 'social' means review syndication, not a media library or native scheduled publishing.

Pricing: Free; Core US$29/month

6. Fera

Customizable review widgets across platforms

Fera is the natural pick if Loox's Shopify-only limit is the problem: it supports Wix, BigCommerce and custom stores as well as Shopify, with highly customizable widgets at a low entry price (4.8 stars, 1,980 reviews, July 2026). Shopify App Store monthly tiers: Startup US$9, Small US$29, Medium US$99 and Semi-Large US$199, with a free tier. One honest limitation: pricing meters on review/order volume and gates storage, seats and widgets by tier, so higher plans add up — and photo/video reviews are the whole product: no native social publishing and no DAM, no rights-at-submission.

Pricing: Free tier; Startup US$9/month (metered)

7. Stamped

Reviews plus a loyalty program from one vendor

Stamped pairs reviews (photo/video plus Q&A) with a loyalty and rewards program, so brands can run both from one vendor (4.7 stars, 3,408 reviews, July 2026). Verified pricing: Reviews from US$23/month at 200 orders, scaling with order volume to US$99, US$199 and custom; Loyalty is a separate line from US$299/month. One honest limitation: like Loox it is order-metered, and stacking loyalty on top adds up against Jam's flat tiers — and the UGC is review/loyalty content for widgets and syndication, with no DAM, no native social scheduler and no rights-at-submission.

Pricing: Reviews US$23/month (order-metered)

Choosing a Loox alternative, answered

What is the best alternative to Loox?

It depends on why you are leaving. If Loox's Shopify-only limit or order-metered pricing is the issue, Fera (multi-platform) and Judge.me (flat US$15/month) are the obvious swaps. If you want to own and publish your customer media rather than just display reviews, Jam is the only option here that combines a DAM, usage rights captured at submission and native scheduled publishing to seven platforms — flat at US$99/month, and not Shopify-only.

Does Loox let me reuse customer photos and videos on social media?

Read Loox's own Merchant Terms of Service carefully. Its §3 (Last Updated May 2018) states that "Loox retains all right, title and ownership in the User Content" and that "unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by you and Loox, you may not use any third party platforms, other than your own website, to link to or distribute the User Content." In other words, reusing customer media on social or ad platforms is restricted without a separate written agreement. Jam takes the opposite approach: usage rights are captured at submission, asset-level and portable, built for downstream reuse.

Is Loox only for Shopify?

Yes. Loox is a Shopify-only app, billed through Shopify, and does not run on WooCommerce, BigCommerce or Wix. Convert, its main paid tier, is also order-volume-metered: US$49.99/month covers 300 orders, then US$50 per additional 300 orders. If you need multi-platform support, Fera and Jam both work beyond Shopify, and Jam is priced flat rather than by order volume.

Methodology: prices checked July 24, 2026 against each vendor's Shopify App Store listing or live pricing page where published (Loox, Okendo, Judge.me, Junip, Fera, Stamped, Jam). Yotpo publishes no complete public price list — its pricing is demo-gated and order-metered, so we describe it rather than quoting a single confident figure. The Loox ownership clause is quoted verbatim from its Merchant Terms of Service (Last Updated May 2018). Ratings are Shopify App Store counts as of the same date and will drift.
